RED VELVET CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

Recipe by Charissa & Co.
No need to bake a cake, try this red velvet smoothie that the whole family can enjoy.
Within this smoothie I added some raw unprocessed cacao. Raw cacao is known to be high in polyphenols, especially abundant in flavanols, that is not only high in antioxidants but has powerful anti-inflammatory effects.
Kids will love this red velvet smoothie, not only simple for you to make, but delicious.
A smoothie that tastes like a dessert, but without the processed ingredients.
Incorporating some wholesome ingredients, along with Nuzest’s Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein / Kids Good Stuff Rich Chocolate, you’re not only getting a dessert, but a full meal. This smoothie can be enjoyed as a anytime meal, especially breakfast.
2 Frozen Bananas
1 Cup of Oat Milk
1 Tablespoon of Almond butter
1 Tablespoon of raw dark cacao powder
2 Servings of Nuzest Rich Chocolate Clean Lean protein
1 Medium sized beetroot (steamed from the night before)
5 Blocks of Ice
2 Tablespoons of coconut yoghurt
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, once ready you can pour into your glass jars, between the layers I added a bit of texture by sprinkling some activated buckwheat groats and dark cacao nibs.
