Smoothies can be a great way to contribute to the planet since it gives us the opportunity to shop seasonal, shop local and even shop frozen. The reason frozen food can be eco-friendly is due to the fact that we can look at reducing food waste.

Ingredients

1 Cup chopped strawberries

2 Servings Nuzest Wild Strawberry Kids Good Stuff

1/2 Cup vanilla coconut yogurt

1.5 Cups Macadamia nut milk

Recipe by Charissa & Co.

Smoothie that is fun for the whole family. This smoothie is not only delicious and creamy but it’s totally free from refined sugars and dairy.

Smoothies can be a great way to contribute to the planet since it gives us the opportunity to shop seasonal, shop local and even shop frozen. The reason frozen food can be eco-friendly is due to the fact that we can look at reducing food waste.

The sad reality is, food waste is the single largest material dumped in landfills. It's bigger than electronic waste and single-use plastic waste.

If you have opportunity to shop local and seasonal, do it. Foods grown in sync with the seasons are more in tune with our intuitive nutritional needs.

Method

Blend it all together and pour into your glass jars, dust with some delicious cacao powder and sprinkle some toasted quinoa puffs.
