CHOCOLATE PROTEIN FILLED COCONUT BITES

Ingredients
2 Cinnamon Coconut wraps
FILLING:
- 2 Tablespoons almond butter (runny)
- 1-2 Tablespoons Nuzest Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein
- 2 Tablespoons of coconut cream
- **Option 1 Teaspoon of monk fruit syrup

Most of the time, Sundays are great to prep your mealplans for the week, especially those little #postworkout bits or late afternoon snacks. Therefore no need to step to the vending machine.
As you plan your meals for the week, these little protein bites are a great addition to add to your mealplan especially if you are a bit bored of the protein balls.
Filled with healthy fats, protein and a little carbs these bites are certainly not going to let you down.
Adding protein after exercise prevents protein breakdown as it stimulates protein synthesis, leading to increased or maintained muscle tissue. So it’s a great strategy for better recovery, adaptation, and performance.
Method
Mix the filling until it reaches a paste. Set aside. Cut out the circles from each wrap, you should have 4 circles. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the protein nut butter paste and then a fresh slice of banana, fold the wraps and seal the edges with a little nut butter mix in order to stay closed. Pop them in the freezer for 15 min prior to drizzling them with raw chocolate drizzle. Place them back in the freezer for 3 min for chocolate drizzle to set. Once set, pop them in a freezer bag and leave it overnight in the freezer for the next day when you plan to take them with you. 1 - 2 per serving snack / post workout depending on your needs.
