Not sure how to get started with ways to add more greens to your day? A simple quick thick super creamy smousse, might just do the trick! Even the kids will love this combo.
Not only full of alkaline greens, but this smousse (hybrid between a smoothie and mousse) has added plant protein and selenium thanks to the added brazil nuts.
Selenium is an essential mineral, meaning it must be obtained through your diet.
Antioxidants like selenium help reduce oxidative stress by keeping free radical numbers in check. Selenium foods also keep our brain happy and healthy.
1/2 Ripe avocado
2 Large Kale leaves
1 Frozen banana
1.5 Cups of nut milk
3 Blocks of ice
3 Brazil Nuts
Blend all the ingredients until smooth, sprinkle with chopped nuts and dehydrated figs.
