Acai Bowls are light and refreshing breakfast or snack. Smooth and creamy with chunks of fruits and seeds on top, it’s one of the healthiest treats you can eat year-round.

Ingredients

1 Banana (frozen)

1/2 Cup blueberries (frozen)

1/2 Cup Strawberries (frozen)

3/4 Cups of coconut water

2 Packs of frozen açai puree (chopped into pieces)

1/2 Cup coconut yoghurt 

1 Tbsp hempseeds

Acai Bowls are light and refreshing breakfast or snack. Smooth and creamy with chunks of fruits and seeds on top, it’s one of the healthiest treats you can eat year-round.


Method

Add all the ingredients to your high-speed blender starting with the liquid and coconut yogurt first followed by the frozen ingredients, ideally use a blender that works with a tamper (see notes). 


Start with the blender on a low setting using the tamper to push the frozen fruit down, mixing around as much as possible. Continue to blend on low until smooth, only adding additional liquid when needed.

Once the mixture is blended and smooth. Divide the smoothie into two bowls and top with all your favorite toppings. Popular additions include sliced banana, granola, strawberries and peanut butter.

NOTES: High speed blenders with tampers will allow you to create thick creamy well blended smoothies without lumps of frozen fruits inside.
